Banned Books Week: September-21-27, 2014

2014 marks the 32nd Anniversary of Banned Books Week, an annual event celebrating the “freedom to read.” The Readers’ Services Department will be presenting two special events to commemorate Banned Books Week:

Friday, September 26.  2 PM

We will be showing the 1990 version of the film Lord of the Flies

starring Balthazar Getty.

A short discussion will follow the film.

Registration is not required for either event. Both events are free.  We encourage you and your group members to attend one or both of these events.  Banned Books Week always provides for a lively conversation.
